It's college admissions time, and Saint Edward’s School wants every family in Indian River County to have a place to get real answers.

No consultants, no plane tickets, just one night in the Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts with admissions leaders from the University of Michigan, Vanderbilt, Lafayette, Florida State University, and the University of Miami. 

Public school students, private school students, homeschoolers—

Everyone is invited to Inside Admissions on Monday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m.

Nationally, the admissions process has been described as “peak college admissions insanity,” a season when the old, simple playbook no longer quite fits. At the same time, media outlets like the Wall Street Journal are highlighting how colleges are searching for new ways to understand who students are and how they think, adding fresh layers to an already overwhelming process. 

Inside Admissions is meant to ease that load. The admissions leaders on stage, representing institutions that range from selective out-of-state public universities to in-state public and private options, will sit on a panel and talk about what they look for now: How an application comes across as genuine instead of generic, what helps a student stand out, and what questions are worth worrying about in 2026. It is the kind of perspective that usually requires expensive consultants or cross-country campus visits, brought home and made accessible in a single evening.

Events like this reflect Saint Edward’s School's longstanding commitment to being a private school with a public purpose.
