House Love with Moor Baker Architects

Recently, Moor Baker Architects threw open their Cardinal Drive studio to raise a glass to House Love — a decade-long chronicle of residential design that reads less like coffee table architectural peacocking and more like a genuine meditation on what makes a house a home worth living in. The evening drew clients, collaborators, and the design-literate curious, all milling about with wine glasses and claiming their signed copies.

The book, published by Vendome Press, features eleven local houses, each one a case study in getting the details right — the way natural light moves through a room, how spaces flow together, the small choices that make a Florida house both livable and impressive. Written by Chris Baker and illustrated by Peter Moor, with a decade of photography by Jessica Glynn and styling by Mary Juckiewicz, House Love represents a culmination of everything Moor Baker Architects holds dear in their design philosophy.

For those who missed the November affair, Moor Baker returns to the signing circuit January 29th at Bungalow Home (4-6 pm), which stocks the book alongside Vero Beach Book Center. They'll surface again April for lunch and conversation at Windsor Beach Club.
