VBMA pours three themed cocktails this Friday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m. for Flight Pattern, the latest installment of Art of the Cocktail, the museum's recurring series pairing whatever's on view with a drink menu.
This round celebrates James Prosek: At Work, drawing inspiration from birds and the natural rhythms of flight. The exhibit itself is a 70-piece survey of an artist who's spent three decades painting trout, ocean fish, birds and prairie grasses, and who has been referred to as "the Audubon of the fishing world."
Guests start the night with a docent-led tour built around the evening's theme, then move to the bar to build a cocktail alongside a mixologist. A mocktail option is available upon request at registration.
$40 for VBMA members, $50 for non-members, 21 and up, and space is limited, so pre-registration is required here.
Flight Pattern, Friday, August 7, 6:30 p.m., Vero Beach Museum of Art, 3001 Riverside Park Drive. Register at vbmuseum.org or 772-231-0707.
