Derek Gores Returns to Gallery 14

Internationally recognized collage artist Derek Gores is back at Gallery 14. Cut & Paste Paradise, his newest collection of signature portraits assembled from recycled magazines, maps, cocktail menus, and more, opens tomorrow, February 3, and runs through February 27. Each piece suggests one image from a distance, then unfolds into an intoxicating landscape of intricate details up close. And Gores' client list, which includes Prada, Tag Heuer, and the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, tells you everything you need to know.

This Friday, February 6, Gallery 14 is hosting a special reception alongside the First Friday Gallery Stroll, from 5 to 8 p.m. And for those of you interested in the full experience, there's also a VIP Preview the evening before (Thursday Feb 5), same time as Friday, featuring a fashion show by Monkees inspired by Gores' work, cocktails by 21st Amendment, and food catered by Varietals.
