Tonight’s full Harvest Supermoon -- the first of three super moons this year, sets the perfectly eerie tone for the weeks ahead.
Rising just after sunset, expect a golden lift over the eastern horizon, then a cool silver glow as it climbs, casting shadows and a bright path across the water. Peak fullness lands at 11:47 p.m. EST, but the show is strong all night.
It's the first of three in a row, followed by November 5 (Beaver Moon) and December 4 (Cold Moon). Step outside, look east, and catch the season’s best show. Want to know more about these Harvest Supermoons? Click here.
