It's Women's History Month: Pick Up Your Hard Hat

March is Women's History Month, and the most powerful thing you can do to show your support might just be to put on a hard hat and get to work.
Next Saturday morning, March 7, volunteers will gather in Gifford Gardens for Women Build Day to build homes for two sisters, Ladreka and Courtney King, who are working toward homeownership in Gifford Gardens, which broke ground in June of last year.

Volunteers gather at 4730 40th Avenue from 7:30 a.m. to noon. No prior experience required.
