The Secret Is Out: The White Party Moves Under the Dome

This year’s White Party for the Vero Beach Film Festival will unfold under the dome this Saturday, January 24 at Indian River Charter High School — a bold choice that signals an even bolder vision for film in Vero Beach.

It marks the beginning of a collaboration between Festival director David Yakir, filmmaker Zacque Gruber, and Charter High to establish a film program that puts professional craft directly in students’ hands.

Their first production? The White Party itself. Every detail — from performance to design — is being realized by the students, turning the evening into both a fundraising gala for the Festival and a statement of intent.

And yes, it will be as glamorous and powerful as ever, if not more, with the Festival’s signature grace seen through a sharper, younger lens.

David Yakir tells us “we’re full,  but will make room for anyone who wants to be at the table. This night is about community, and every ticket helps build what we’re charting next.”

Tickets are available at VeroBeachFilmFestival.com.

And for those who’d rather help cue the cameras than pose for them, the Festival’s lining up volunteers for the season ahead, where you’re always guaranteed a good seat and never a dull moment. Click here to join as a volunteer.
