Meet “The Captain” of Main Street Vero Beach: Morgen Reynolds
Known around town as The Captain, Morgen is the driving force behind the exciting changes happening downtown and on Main Street. Her background in branding, digital marketing, and event promotion (she's the founder of Beyond the Trend Marketing) gives her just the right mix of skills to lead Main Street Vero Beach’s efforts to breathe new life into the historic district.
As Board President of Main Street Vero Beach, Morgen has been the spark behind some of the coolest projects downtown:
Light Up Downtown: Adding beautiful decorative lighting that makes the streets magical, safer and more inviting after dark.
Next Wave: Tech Innovation Hub: Getting ready to launch a tech hub for Vero Beach and Indian River County, with a big kickoff conference planned for 2026.
Main Street Mural Festival: Bringing artists from all over -- alongside Linda Moore (Vice Mayor and owner of Kilted Mermaid) for a three-day celebration of murals, music, and good vibes this November 7 through 9. Hold Monday, July 21 for the Mural Festival Wine & Cocktail Dinner fundraiser at Kilted Mermaid. Indian River County Centennial Parade: Leading the charge for the big June 27th parade and party celebrating 100 years of local history, complete with live bands, food trucks, and a ball drop.

She’s not just a figurehead—she’s out there daily working with city officials, business owners, and volunteers, making sure ideas turn into real results. Her nickname, The Captain, fits perfectly because she knows how to steer through challenges and keep everyone moving forward.
