Somewhere Between Worlds: Erika Masterson's Conceptual Photography Comes to Gallery 14

Erika Masterson has spent more than two decades making a living from photography, including portraits, commercial work, and the steady grind of a business she built herself in California and Florida. The conceptual work came later, showing a different side of her work entirely.

Her solo exhibition, Between Worlds, opens tomorrow, April 18 and runs through May 22. Gallery 14 describes her work as "quiet and soulful." They've turned up on magazine pages, greeting cards, and book covers. At Gallery 14, they're presented as limited editions on gallery-wrapped canvas.

The opening reception is Friday, May 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., in conjunction with the First Friday Gallery Stroll. Work by the gallery's artist-owners and represented artists will also be on display.
