Meet Vice Mayor Taylor Dingle

Main Street Vero Beach — the organization behind Coffee with the Mayor and Downtown Friday — is launching a new monthly series that brings council members directly to downtown for casual conversation and city updates -- and, of course, cocktails.

Meet Me on Main debuts this Thursday, January 15, at 4 p.m., featuring Vice Mayor Taylor Dingle at 21st Amendment Distillery. Now in his second term as a council member and first as vice mayor, Dingle championed the downtown's official designation as the Vero Beach Historic District and works with Main Street on those decorative signal boxes popping up around town. He'll also share his views on the airport, Three Corners, and the water treatment facility.

Doors open at 4 p.m. before the program begins at 4:15 p.m. and wraps by 5. Each month brings a different downtown business host and a different council member. 1420 Coffee House provides free coffee and light bites, and 21st Amendment extends a drink discount to those who RSVP
