This Wednesday, January 21 at 7:30 PM marks the opening of the long-anticipated Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's 2026 Vero Beach season at Trinity Episcopal Church, with an all-Beethoven program.
The house is already packed with Vero's most devoted chamber music faithful, but there are still a handful of seats remaining for the uninitiated. Get your seats here.
And arrive early at 6:45 if you'd like to participate in the pre-conversation with the musicians before they take the stage.
There’s chamber music, and then there’s chamber music at this level—the rare, world‑class kind that separates a pleasant evening from a night you won't forget. These four musicians—cellist David Finckel, violinist Kristin Lee, pianist Juho Pohjonen, and violinist/violist Arnaud Sussmann—are masters, delivering the sort of playing that permanently recalibrates your sense of what chamber music can be.
Wedneday's program traces Beethoven's evolution from the buoyant Trio in D major, Op. 9, No. 2 and Sonata in E-flat major, Op. 12, No. 3 to the towering "Archduke" Trio, Op. 97—that famous piece composed while Beethoven's hearing was failing.
If you've somehow missed this series, a handful of seats still remain. Reserve now at 212-875-5788 or click here to order online.
The season continues February 19 and March 25.
