Fellsmere may be the smallest name in terms of road signs, but it carries the loudest brag: its Frog Leg Festival holds not one but two Guinness World Records—one for being the largest frog leg festival on the planet, another for the staggering number of frog legs sold in a single run.
Set that against the map: Fellsmere is the largest city in Indian River County by land, Sebastian is the largest by population, and Vero Beach is the historic center of gravity.
Three different scales: Ranchland and row crops, riverfront and oysters, beaches and cultural institution, all linked to a shared future by growth lines.
This Wednesday, January 7 at 5 p.m. at Riverside Theatre, the Fellsmere Mayor Jessica Salgado, County Commissioner Susan Adams, Vero Beach Mayor John Cotugno and Vero Beach City Manager Monte Falls sit down together to talk about exactly that.
RSVP here. Seats are going fast.
Then be sure to go to the Frog Leg Festival itself, January 15 to 18. See more here.
