Over the past year, Jerzi Olivia Squires has become a consistent presence across Vero Beach’s live music circuit.
She is a regular at Riverside Theatre’s Live in the Loop, where her shows range from solo sets to lively performances with her bands, JERZI and Ubae Groove. Locals have also caught her at Costa d’Este, Grind + Grape, and other favorite venues.
Connecting Through Community Work
Jerzi’s reach goes beyond entertainment. Her music supports local causes, with performances that raise funds and awareness for organizations including:
H.A.L.O.
Humane Society
Education Foundation of Indian River County
American Cancer Society
Youth Guidance Mentoring Academy
She also collaborates closely with Rio Coco Cafe, organizing accessible, all-ages shows that support Nicaraguan education projects. This work reflects her ongoing investment in using her platform to benefit the wider community.
In her words: “Giving back means a lot to me. I've had the chance to perform for causes like H.A.L.O. and the Humane Society, and I’m proud to collaborate with Rio Coco Cafe on events that also help raise funds for school projects in Nicaragua.”
Looking Ahead: September at Riverside Theatre
Jerzi’s next appearance in Vero Beach is with Ubae Groove at Riverside Theatre’s Live in the Loop on September 4, from 5pm to 8pm. Her upcoming set continues a string of performances that tie together her love of music and her ongoing support of the community.
