A Martini With the Mayor, and One Last Downtown Party Before Summer

Main Street Vero Beach's monthly Meet Me on Main series lands at Curfew on 14th Avenue this Thursday, May 14, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Under the stewardship of board president Morgen Reynolds, who's been driving some of downtown's most visible improvements, from the oak tree lighting project at Pocahontas Park to the decorative signal boxes popping up around the district, the series has become, alongside Let's Talk Vero, one of the best ways to stay connected to the city's pulse without having to sit through a council meeting.

Each month pairs a different downtown business with a sitting council member for cocktails, quick updates, and an excuse to finally check out that Downtown spot you've been meaning to visit.

This month, Mayor John Cotugno takes the mic at Curfew, with updates from City Hall and a Main Street update on downtown projects and what's ahead.

RSVP and you'll get a discounted drink. Seating is first-come, first-served.

And as Main Street closes out its season, you won't want to miss Downtown Friday. The final edition of the season lands May 29 with a Patriotic Party on 14th Ave starting at 6 p.m. commemorating America's 250th birthday. Last one until fall!
